The Pick List tool enables you to gather a selection of objects that are not necessarily associated with others by a common attribute and therefore difficult to bring together with the use of filter searches. Once you have created your Pick List you can either create a new group or view a temporary list of the objects, which you can perform other actions with – like changing location or generating reports.
How to create a Pick List
1. From the Groups page – click into any group that you wish to select objects from.
2. Once on the group page select the objects you want to include, then click Pick List at the top of the page.
3. You can either drag and drop individual objects into the Pick List box, or click Add Selected.
Now that you have selected objects from this group, go to another to continue your selection. You will notice that even though you have moved to a different page, your pick list is still present.
Pick List Actions
Having created your Pick List you can perform two actions by clicking on CREATE GROUP or SHOW PICK LIST at the top of the page.
This will produce a new group window where you can enter the Group Name and other details. Save the group by clicking Add.
Show Pick List
This will convert your Pick List into an object list view where you can perform other actions like changing location or generating reports.
