While filling in the Collectrium Template, images are dealt with in very specific fashion. For every image associated with an object, that image file name must be entered in the "Images" column of the template EXACTLY as it would appear in file search.
For example, if your object has one image associated with it and that image file is titled PaintingIMG123.jpg , than you must enter PaintingIMG123.jpg in the images column. If you enter Paintingimg123.jpg or PaintingIMG123 or PaintingIMG123.jpeg, the image mapping will fail and that object's image will not be imported.
If an object has more than one image associated with it, multiple images can be separated by the pipe key. For example, if an object has two images, img1234.jpg and pic1241.png , they can be added to the image column as img1234.jpg|pic1241.png
Once the image file names have been added to the sheet, you must consolidate the image files themselves into one zip file. The file must contain all of the images referenced in the template, and must not contain any subfolders.
The same process can be followed when adding attachments (pdfs, etc)
When you're ready to deliver your data to Collectrium you should have 2-3 items prepared (depending on whether you are also adding attachments):
1.) Excel Collectrium Template filled in with all collection data
2.) a Zip file named "Images.zip" containing all images and no sub-folders
3) a Zip file named "Attachments.zip" containing all attachments and no sub-folders
When this data is prepared you can contact us an we will instruct you of the best way to deliver the data (depending on file size)
